Covid Response: Covid Emergency Resources for Artists

Even in "normal" times, many artists struggle to maintain their creative lives as well as their day-to-day existence. In a crisis, such as the one we have found ourselves in since March 2020, the challenges are magnified and ongoing. The Judith Alexander Foundation is especially concerned about those in the arts community who are dealing with canceled incomes and an uncertain future. In the spirit of rich communication and the sharing of ideas so critical in these times, we have compiled a list of emergency resources for artists.

This list is drawn from various sources we've found online or have been told about and we deeply appreciate the efforts so many are making to disseminate the information. We will do our best to keep up with the changes. Keep checking back.

The list is also intended to provide information for those who wish to make a financial contribution to these efforts. Note that some are specifically working in Georgia and others are operating across the country.

We hope this will be useful and helpful. May we all be healthy, resilient, and supportive of one another!

Please note that we have not personally vetted any of these resources and can not necessarily vouch for them. Postings to this site shall not be interpreted as an endorsement by JAF for any of the listed organizations, people, or services. Please do your own research before submitting an application.
